KABA African Hair Braiding really delivered for me. The stylist listened to exactly what I wanted, explained the process, and the braids came out neat and long-lasting. The shop was welcoming and clean, and the vibe was friendly without being pushy. If you’re in New York and want reliable, stylish braids, KABA African Hair Braiding is my go-to.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! I was looking for weeks for a place to braid my hair & I am very picky because my hair is natural and I have a sensitive scalp. I was sold the second they told me that I don't have to straighten my hair before going in. They made everything super easy for me. From making the appointment, showing them what I want, and providing me with all of the details. All of the ladies are very welcoming and know what they are doing. I wish I had gotten the name of the lady who braided my hair, but I was looking at the other clients getting braided, and they all do an amazing job. I came in mentally prepared for hair pulling and leaving with a migraine, but this is by far my best experience that I've EVER had with braids of any kind. The braids are not too tight, and not once did I feel like my hair got yanked or pulled. It is now the end of the day, and my head does not hurt 🙌🏾. My head doesn't feel heavy, my scalp doesn't even itch & the braids are very easy to manage. I don't live in NY anymore, but I am here visiting my parents & I will definitely be coming here anytime I am back in NY & need to get my hair braided. I'm soo happy that I found this place!

Ask for Nathalie! Busy Harlem hair braiding spot. They all nice with the parting and braiding. Hair is included in the price. I loveeee my bohemian knotless braids. Took my 8 year old daughter the next day and I love her hair as well, she only got knotless with curly ends
